Job Description

We are hiring a Bookkeeper for musicians, songwriters, and producers. The chosen candidate will play an integral role at Leftbrain on our client services teams.

You will report directly to the Business Manager and work alongside a team of Senior Accountants and Royalty Coordinators. This role includes both client-facing responsibilities in addition to the normal bookkeeping responsibilities. Being a small and fast-growing company, the scope of your work will be quite broad.

Throughout your projects you’ll receive support from a small, yet experienced team with deep accounting, finance, and music industry experience. This is an opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing company at its beginning stages and learn first-hand from experts in the industry.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, at least 2 of which must have been in a firm environment where you managed multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Curious, willing to learn, and able to innovate using new knowledge
• Extremely organized and driven self-starter with an attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Bookkeeping or Accounting
• QuickBooks Online and Bill.com experience

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
