SUMMARY
The Body Shop Administrative Assistant supports the Body Shop by collecting all customer information, including insurance information, performing follow-up calls, taking payments, and performing other administrative duties while representing the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Communicate with customers, insurance representatives, and vendors in a professional, friendly, and efficiently.
- Communicate messages to the Body Shop Manager and staff promptly.
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
- Write and administer all Pos, assist with tracking receivables, and book completed work orders.
- Schedule appointments for estimates and repairs.
- Update customers on the progress of vehicle repair.
- Collect payment and record appropriately.

- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of Body Shop or dealership customer service preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk the shop floor. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds on occasion. Must be able to push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. Must have close and distance vision.
