Duties:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including conducting therapy sessions and monitoring progress
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions for treatment planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for services and provide recommendations for treatment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide ongoing behavioral therapy and intervention services to clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress through data collection and analysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure treatment goals are met
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
-BcaBA certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and strategies
Skills:
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, patience, and compassion
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments to determine treatment needs
- In-depth knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records
