To provide assistance in preparing our clients socially and behaviorally to become positive, productive participants in their families, and communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist licensed personnel in the facility where individual differences are respected.
2. Help maintain cohesiveness in the facility.
3. Assist with supplement tray work for clients and supervise independent study in the facility.
4. Use current technology for behavioral management needs.
5. Assist licensed personnel with client treatment discipline.
6. Assist in maintaining clients’ involvement in appropriate tasks.
7. Safely restrain clients, as a last resort.
8. Provide assistance with individualized program materials.
9. Assist in Functional Analysis of Behavior.
10. Facilitate communication among Behavior Management Team (Staff, Physician, Family).
11. Implement individual behavior management plans.
12. Exhibit skills needed to de-escalate a volatile situation.
13. Establish collaborative understanding of specific job responsibilities at assigned sites.
14. Understand disciplinary parameters.
15. Report dangerous client behaviors to immediate supervisor.
16. Assist in integrating all clients into ALL activities.
17. Maintain required individual client documentation.
18. Guide independent study, enrichment and/or remedial work setup by the case manager.
19. Participate in Professional Development opportunities.
20. Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, and/or case manager.
21. Ensure HIPAA guidelines and procedures are maintained.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
