Join Avera as a Blood Donor Phlebotomist!
You will be working in our Main Campus Blood Donor Bank and our Mobile Blood Donor Unit which travels in SD, MN and IA.
**$1,500 Sign-On Bonus**

Job Summary
Responsible for collecting blood from donors using both traditional as well as apheresis, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of the donor following established standards and practices.
Responsible to process phone calls, donor cancellations, and other inquiries regarding blood donations.
Education and/or Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related phlebotomy experience plus hands-on training in apheresis blood collection preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience in a patient contact position is higly desired.
- This position requires basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Schedule
- Varied 10 hour day and evening shifts.
- The schedule may start as early as 6am and as late as 10 pm.
- Full Time; 80 hours per 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
