Form of workBilling Specialist - full-time, remote
Atrio Home Health is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to join our team of professionals.
What will you do:
- Prepare Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid, commercial insurance, private pay, and any other insurance types for services provided to clients
- Monitor for corrections and rebilling as necessary to keep cash flow steady and accounts receivable current
- Communicate with various insurances and/or clients as needed to follow up with outstanding claims and resubmit as needed
- Obtain authorizations for various insurances
- Generate/maintain electronically daily, weekly, and monthly reports with narrative and graphs
- The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Qualified candidates:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience
- Knowledge of certified home health
- High speed Internet
- Ability to work remotely full-time while able to attend meetings in the Grand Rapids main office as needed
- Top candidates will be skilled in efficient and accurate, detailed data entry.
- Masterful, high-end computer skills in various software applications: MatrixCare, FISS, Microsoft Office, etc.
