Accounts Receivable And Billing Specialist

SUPERSTAR Billing and AR Specialist!

The Law Office of Barton Morris is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate with Account Receivable experience for our exceptional legal team!

This position works closely with the Owner and Operations to execute all billing functions, including, accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, client contracts and payment plans, file closing, and collections.

Duties:
- Process Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing and posting payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts
- Prepare and analyze A/R aging reports
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

Experience:
- Previous experience in corporate accounting or financial services required
- Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in 10-key typing
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Familiarity with journal entries, debits, credits, and general ledger functions
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quicken or similar programs

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
