Billing Specialist - Bilingual

Quest Group Staffing is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish) Billing Specialist. They will be responsible for collections and customer service regarding billing concerns, accounting support for both AP and Credit Application functions

The company we are searching for operates a network of more than 250 distribution centers nationwide and is in the construction industry.

Job Description:

• Matching, coding and entering accounts payable invoices to ensure payments are made within agreed upon vendor payment terms.
• Review and reconcile open items.
• Research and resolve vendor inquires and invoice discrepancies.
• Cross train with the Cash Applications Accounting Specialist.
• Enter, update and retrieve information for credit applications.
• Determine creditworthiness of applicants.
• Designate the degree of risk involved in extending credit by reviewing the credit reports.
• responds to emails and phone calls from our customers and answers their questions and updates them on the status of their application.
• Will be following up with stores for payments

Requirements:

• knowledge of the full cycle AP process,
• knowledge of AP automation.
• maintain confidentiality.
• Bilingual- SPANISH
• Two or more years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting required.
• Knowledge of MS Office (intermediate Excel skills) and knowledge of Accounts Payable module of another major financial system is essential (Sage, SRM, Great Plains, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc is acceptable).
• Basic Excel skills required
• Software: Bill trust and Cybersource. Willing to train.

This is a fast paced department. They need someone intelligent and good with numbers.
