Billing Specialist

This Billing Clerk position will consist of reviewing bills and performing data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. This position for a long-term contract / temporary to hire Billing Clerk is based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.

What you get to do every single day

- Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy

- Use QuickBooks to enter billing information

- Analyze billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary

- Examine, evaluate, and process invoices or bills for services rendered

- Must have knowledge of billing customers, creating and processing invoices, and maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.

Must have strong computer skills.

- Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Foundational knowledge in Bill Payment
- Experience with Billing Collection
- Proven knowledge of electronic billing
- Strong familiarity with Coding Invoices
- Knowledge of data entry
- QuickBooks experience
- Strong expertise in spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
