The Opportunity: This role involves much more than data entry. It’s about creating trusting relationships with your team and most importantly, the clients. Your involvement will ensure that our staff have efficient billing and timely communication they can rely on and that every client can depend on. This will also include training seminars and webinars to ensure each team member has the most up-to-date education. Key Responsibilities:
- Billing Compliance: You will be part of our front-line team to ensure billing is accurate and timely, completing claim denials, printing commercial and worker’s compensation forms, reviewing and rebilling any unprocessed claims, completing insurance authorizations, and you will be an integral part of our collections process.
- Administrative Reporting: You will monitor and report key metrics across the company each week to help drive our success as an engaged practice.
- Conflict Resolution: Address complaints with empathy and effectiveness, maintaining our high service standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- A candidate who embodies a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Computer literate and familiar with patient EMR systems recommended.
- A proven track record in handling customer service and complaint resolution with finesse and a positive attitude.
- This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work schedule every week Monday through Friday. The clinic is closed on weekends and major holidays.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in claim management, preferably in a healthcare clinic setting.
- Ability to engage with a team to create new ideas and incorporate new policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
