Position Summary:
Supports the delivery of quality legal services to clients of the Foreclosure Department by providing effective accounting functions to the firm while also working collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Essential functions include the following responsibilities. Regular and predictable, on-site attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Billing foreclosure files within strict investor/servicer timelines, at applicable milestone completion
- Ensuring billing is compliant with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA guidelines
- Request and invoice additional attorney fees via client system (hourly and flat rate)
- Ability to process both electronic and manual billing formats and work in LPS system
- Manage adjustments/resolutions related to invoicing
- All other accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements include, but are not limited to the below:
- 2 years' experience with foreclosure billing preferred
- Experience working with law firm time and billing software systems
- Bookkeeping experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong skills in both verbal and written communication
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Proficient use of PC with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle large workloads
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes/procedures
