Billing Clerk

Billing Specialist opportunity available with well-established, and leading Farmingdale area company. Your role will have you responsible for generating customer invoices and monthly statements, resolving billing discrepancies, responding to customer inquiries and supporting month end activities. Construction or architectural industry experience, AIA billing, and strong Excel are all ideal qualifications for this immediate career opportunity. How you will make an impact

- Record journal entries for all adjustments to billings

- Manage billing inquiries and help customers

- Handle all customer accounts, check for outstanding debts, incorrect or incomplete information, or other problems

- Issue periodical customer account statements

- Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed

- Discuss billing adjustments with clients and vendors

- Ensure the accuracy of various types of payments (cash, online payments etc.)

- Answer requests from clients and vendors

- Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.

- Provide customers with bills and invoices via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)

- Put together reports for executives and senior management

-Microsoft Excel and Word experience

-AIA billing

-Reconciliation and billing experience

-Excellent follow up and customer support skills
