Partners Professional is currently seeking a full cycle Bilingual Benefits and Compensation Manager in Vacaville, CA! This position is full time M-F, Direct Hire, 100% onsite, Salary range of $95-125K. DOE
Bilingual Benefits and Compensation Manager Summary/Objective:
The Benefits and Compensation Manager is responsible for the administration of the employee benefits, rewards, recognition, and Compensation/total rewards programs and is the backup to payroll. This role will assist with developing the “right” programs within budget to improve the performance, engagement, and satisfaction of our employees while supporting business goals and strategies.
Benefits and Compensation Manager Duties:
· Responsible for employee insurance programs such as life, disability, and health insurance plans, including HRA and FSA.
· Responsible for annual benefits open enrollment.
· Provides insurance orientation to new hires or employees with a qualifying event.
· Ensures employee’s questions are answered and claims are processed timely.
· Assists with the preparation of employee benefit booklets and other employee benefit communications.
· Partners with TPA to administer COBRA.
· Partners with the Wellness Consultant to deliver valuable information, programs and events to our employees that will improve their lifestyle choices and assists with controlling the company’s benefit expense. Must have a passion for wellness.
· Administers the company’s 401(k) plan and deferred compensation programs.
· Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
· Responsible for administration of time off and leaves of absence.
· Researches and compares Benefits and Compensation plans offered by demographically comparable organizations; assesses competitors’ plans and makes recommendations for enhancements or improvements required to keep the organization’s plans competitive and effective.
· Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
· Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
· Analyze job descriptions, performance evaluations, and classifications.
· Assess employees' needs by conducting organizational surveys.
· Suggest new ways to motivate, recognize, and reward employees.
· Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
· Conduct periodic audits, prepares and presents reports.
· Monitors administrators’ and insurance carriers’ data and reports to ensure the organization’s compliance with plan requirements.
· Ensures the organization’s and plan’s compliance with the applicable provisions of State and Federal laws/regulations.
· Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable Benefits and Compensation scales and structures.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
· Administers the unemployment insurance program.
· Responsible for providing backup to the HR/Payroll Administrator.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Benefits and Compensation Manager Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing and administering employee benefits, compensation, total rewards programs required.
· Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices.
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience processing payroll on ADP Workforce Now or similar system.
· Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Must have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related preferred.
· CBP or CEBS and CCP certifications preferred.
· SHRM-CP and PHR preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, compensation, and payroll.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Thorough knowledge of Federal and State requirements.
· Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations.
· Must be able to walk a 740,000 sq. ft. facility both indoors and outdoors.
· Must be able to travel between facilities in CA and Wisconsin at least once per year.
