Claim Management Representative
Reports to
Claim Management Team Lead
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/objective
Independently managing a caseload of complex workers Compensation Claims for our customers.
Essential functions
- Convert information from new injury packets into our database system.
- Create an event for a follow up appointment
- Add notes into the database system
- Complete follow-up slips
- Submit the injury into the workers compensation carrier
- Email the employer with updates
- Communicate by phone and email with adjusters, clinics, injured workers and employers
- Close claims
- Audit injuries for OSHA
- Attend claim reviews
Travel required
- May have to travel to customer for the claims review
Required education and experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Data entry
Preferred education and experience
- Bilingual
- Medical background
