The specific role of the Behavior Technician is to provide intervention, teaching, and support to children and/or young adults under their care. Behavior Technicians provide 1:1 behavior intervention to children and/or young adults and report directly to a Lead Therapist and BCBA. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing the specific ABA programs as written by the BCBA. BrightSpots Behavior utilizes multiple ABA-based teaching strategies such as Discrete Trial Training, PRT, PECS and other play-based ABA techniques. Behavior Technicians will be trained to implement these strategies reliably and are required to collect data during every session.
Requirements:
High school diploma or College Degree (pay based on education)
Able to pass a criminal background check
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move, and carry objects weighing a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds
Valid driver’s license and current insurance meeting state law
Love of children
Ability to follow instructions

Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
