JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures barissetup withappropriate levels ofliquor,juices,crushes,additives,soda,
- Ensures that the bar, glasses and cutlery is clean and sanitized
- Ensures cleanliness of bar and kitchen areas throughout service
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Prepares drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences
- Presents bar bill and takes payment
- Ensures guests are engaged and satisfied
- Monitors guests for overconsumption of alcohol and takes steps as necessary
- Locks up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
- Monitor inventory control
- Assists with food service and delivery for guests
- Assist in the bussing and resetting of tables as needed
- Assist with preparation of food items for outlet service as needed
- Assist in washing all dishware, utensils, glassware, serving items associated with service
- Assist with breakdown and cleaning of food stations upon conclusion shift
- Responsible for completion of opening and closing checklists during shift
- Responsible in assisting with training of new associates
- Maintain and empty grease bin and strainer basket each shift
- Promote and participate in brand wide initiatives
- Adherence to the attendance policy and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Provides exceptional Guest Service
- Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed
- Prepare room for events: set tables, linen cloth chaffing dishes, sternos, dishes, silverware, beverage station, as needed.
- Responsible for break down of beverage stations, and food stations upon conclusion of the event. Assist with break down of other event related items as needed (linen, chaffing dishes)
- Upon breakdown of event, responsible for bringing items (dishware, serve ware, glassware, utensils) to dish pit and assist with washing as needed
- Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure
- Assist with transporting food and beverage items from kitchen to event space and placing in appropriate place on the buffet
- Ensure buffet and stationary platters remain replenished throughout duration of the event
- Serve guests food and drinks during event as required
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests
- Rearranges and installs furniture throughout building as needed and based on the client and events needs
- Follow directions as detailed from director of sales and/or food and beverage manager
- Complete Banquet Check List during every scheduled banquet shift
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED
- Safe Serving certification required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests
- Detail-oriented
