Bartender / Server

Red Stone Pub is a comfortable authentic pub serving craft beers, hand-crafted cocktails, and authentic food located in the heart of Simsbury. We are looking for Bartender/Servers. The qualified candidates will be talented, focused, and high energy team players who have a dynamic personality and positive and friendly attitude with a strong passion for providing an amazing guest experience to keep our guests returning!

As a Bartender/Server you will have strong attention to detail, and amazing customer service skills to meet the needs of our guests. You are responsible for adding value to the quality of the guest experience; including the food & beverage, service and atmosphere.

Major Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival

• Timely and accurately take guest orders, prepare and/or serve food and beverages to guests

• Maintain cleanliness and preparedness of work areas, tables and common areas including required breakdown and clean up throughout your shift

• Correctly and precisely calculate and record each sale transaction and collect funds accurately

• Maintain the ambiance of the pub as appropriate

• Demonstrate professionalism through performance, attire, behavior, and language

Knowledge and Skills:

• No experience required; we will train you.

• Strong customer service skills in order to manage the guest experience including guest satisfaction and complaint resolution.

• Qualified Candidates must demonstrate a Highly Motivated Attitude, and a Genuine

• Have strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with coworkers, guests, and manager

• Good sense of menu items

• Able to work effectively in a team environment

• Able to perform a variety of complicated tasks and demonstrate a sense of urgency in accomplishing assigned tasks.

• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently

• Physical ability needed to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as lift, carry, and move objects up to 80 pounds

Education Requirements:

• May require High School diploma or its equivalent.

Job Types: Part-time and full-time available. No seasonal opportunities.

Pay: starting at $15.00 plus perks

Schedule Availability: Tuesday to Saturday 5:00 p.m. to close

Experience:

• No experience required

• Customer Service Experience of 1 year preferred

• Prior host/hostess experience preferred.
