Weekend Bartender

Job Overview:
J Roo's is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a catering, restaurant, or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Proficient in handling cash transactions and operating Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, handling money, and providing change
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $8.23 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
