Title: Food Beverage, Baker - Pastry Cook
Reports to: Executive Chef
FLSA Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt
I. Job Summary
• Create, plan and the production of top quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods to enhance the quality of the guest's experience.
- Job Responsibilities
- Preparation, production, cooking and baking skills.
- Safe serve certified.
- Understanding of inventory techniques and appropriate par levels on rations.
- Ability to work weekends, nights and or late night shifts.
- Knowledge of basic Culinary, Baking and Pastry techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Diploma or GED
- One to two years post high school education preferred.
- Prior Culinary, Baking, Pastry experience preferred.
Skills and Experience (Essential)
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic Computer Skills
- Possess a good command of the English language and ability to communicate with guests clearly and pleasantly, both in person and by telephone
- Baking-Pastry knowledge
