Responsibilities:
- Prepare and make a variety of donuts according to established recipes and procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, and ovens
- Ensure that all ingredients are measured and mixed accurately
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure donuts are cooked to perfection
- Decorate and glaze donuts with various toppings and icings
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning the dining area as needed
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and with others
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality of donuts
-Worked with products made with yeast ex. breads, cinnamon rolls etc
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Note: Previous experience as a donut maker or in a similar role is preferred. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
