Job Description
The Back Server’s primary responsibility is to serve guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction. This is achieved by:

• Food and beverage sales
• Food and beverage menu knowledge
• Taking beverage orders
• Describing the desserts and taking dessert order
• Cleaning tables between courses
• Delivering coffees, teas, and various beverages
• Setting up tables for service
• Delivering used dishes to dishwashing area
• Serving water as needed and directed
• Performing side work duties
• Stocking condiments in service stations
• Restocking all side stations in dining room with proper items
• Performing all other duties as directed

Required experience

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant (2+ years Manhattan experience preferred)
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Be a team player
• Maintain high-quality standards, clean work habits with a great attention to detail
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must work well individually and as a team player
• Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
