Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set for the next guests
- Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate order delivery
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and provide efficient service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and increase revenue
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and payment processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service to guests
- Familiarity with culinary terms, ingredients, and menu items is a plus
