B2B Business Development Specialist (Wholesale, Retail) 1099

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Specialist. The primary purpose for this position will be to generate, and maintain new business with small to medium businesses in your area. We are looking for the small "mom and pap" shops who are wanting to expand their product base, and increase overall profitability. This role will require you to build and maintain a professional relationships with each retailer to understand their sales strategies, in order to better serve their product needs. If you are highly self-motivated, work well under pressure, think out of the box, can initiate relaxed informative two-way phone conversations with store managers this position is for you. This is a fully remote, commission only role. Earning potential of $100k annually.

What you will do

• Make contact with, and generate new business with small to medium retailers
• Effectively offer and educate on products that match each stores inventory requirements
• Train each store on order procedures to make each location self sufficient
• Maintain your sales pipeline to ensure consistent ordering on a monthly basis

What you will need

• Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, and through presentation
• Aptitude to manage numerous accounts and time demands concurrently while achieving sales goals
• Strong organizational skills to separate and communicate the needs of each store location
• Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
• Basic computer skills with programs such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
