Job Summary/Objective
The Business Development Manager will drive the growth and success of our products within the battery plants and semiconductor market verticals. This role requires a strategic thinker who is skilled in understanding the specific needs of these industries and can tailor our solutions to meet them. It is vital that the Business Development Manager – Battery & Semiconductor Plants not only has knowledge about wire and cable products but also understands the unique challenges and opportunities present within the battery plants and semiconductor markets.
- Identify and target potential business opportunities within battery plants and semiconductor market verticals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within targeted verticals to ensure client retention and repeat business.
- Drive specification within respective industries.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and promotional strategies tailored to industry needs.
- Understand and keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, government funding, and regulatory changes that could impact product sales.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights and customer needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to upper management.
- Handle after-sales support, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the products and services.
- Attend industry-specific conferences, trade shows, training sessions, and events to network and promote the company's products.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Required
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Specialized Degree: Business, Engineering, or related field
Years of Experience: 10+
Field of Expertise: Electrical
