ASI Aero is seeking a fulltime Aviation Warehouse Coordinator with FULLY PAID BENEFITS TO INCLUDE HEALTH, DENTAL and VISION, locatedin Boca Raton, FL.
The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating warehouse tasks and daily activities as outlined and maintain the established processes and procedures for productive and safe operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks or other common carriers
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and checking in of incoming parts & documents per company requirements as well as validate item quantities
- Locate, pick, pack, and ship parts to designated customers/locations
- Perform stocking and restocking of components and materials on shelves, bins or bulk racks
- May also be required to operate various motor vehicles
- Follow work instructions, processes, and procedures as outlines in the Quality Manual
- Photographing of the components being received and/or shipped are to include scanning and attaching to the inventory stock-line or order in the Quantum aviation inventory software
- Organize and compile the corresponding component documents and scan into Quantum
- Adhere to the strict packing procedures to the Aircraft parts per ATA SPEC 300
- Complete periodic inventory stock counts and report and discrepancies to management
- Handle Haz-Mat and Dangerous Goods (Training to be provided)
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) years’ experience in the following: handling, packing, and shipping of stock inventories and updating of records into an ERP system
- Aviation experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment to include pallet jacks, dollies and forklifts
- Possess basic computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Attention to detail and to accurately input information into a computerized database
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements
- Complete understanding and ability to work in a safe and professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements to include FAA, DOT, OSHA, EPA in addition to all State and Federal regulations or guidelines
- Ability to be flexible, extended shifts or overtime, if required
- Employees are required to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol drug testing and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- The Aviation Warehouse Coordinator position, is very active and will require bending, stooping, walking, kneeling, crouching and ability to safely climb ladder stairs during the course of the day
- The employee may frequently lift and move safely items over 50 pounds
- Must pass and obtain forklift certification (Training Provided)
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license
