Job Description: The Automotive Service Manager will play a crucial role in managing our service department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional vehicle repairs and customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operations in the service department, guaranteeing quality and efficiency in all repair work.
- Expertly utilize diagnostic tools to accurately troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Implement operational standards to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Mentor and develop service department staff, fostering a skilled team capable of handling a wide range of automotive repairs.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust in our services.
- Oversee inventory management, including the procurement of tools and parts necessary for high-level automotive repairs.
- Ensure compliance with Automotive Service standards and safety regulations.
- Regularly report on departmental achievements and challenges, contributing to strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Significant experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a comparable managerial role within the Automotive Service industry.
- Deep understanding of vehicle mechanics and proficient use of diagnostic tools.
- Extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make customer-oriented decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications from the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or similar recognized bodies.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in automotive repair, with at least 3 years in a management role.
