Your Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties:

• Hire, manage, and supervise the performance of the service department including advisors, technicians, BDC, cashiers, etc.
• Maintain a high Customer Service Index rating, reduce customer complaints, and increase customer retention
• Conduct service meetings and establish department goals and objectives to minimize unapplied time
• Manage shop production and schedule to meet pace and budget
• Create work schedule and maintain proper accounting of Service Technicians’ productivity
• Ensure that technicians keep their skills current through manufacturer training, ASE training and CDK
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all guests and employees and understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service and parts operations and OSHA compliance
• Ensure that proper service sales techniques are being used
• Review and understand manufacturer warranty and policy procedures

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous Service Manager experience is preferred
• Knowledge of warranty procedures, work scheduling, etc. is a plus
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems
• Previous industry knowledge and overall knowledge of operations, management, and customer relationships
• Must have a valid driver’s license
