Work you'll do
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Audit & Investigations of Fee-for-Service and Managed Care Oversight audits. The manager will support the client with its collaboration with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Program Integrity Contractor's audits & Investigations efforts. This role is responsible for coordinating and making appropriate referrals to managed care entities, the Medicaid Fraud & Control Unit and other local, federal, state entities for further action.

Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as an Audits & Investigations Manager in government healthcare5+ years of experience in medical coding and/or prior experience leading or performing financial fraud, waste, and abuse investigations
- 1+ years of experience using Microsoft office suite
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare fraud, waste, & abuse
- 3+ years of consulting experience for Medicaid/Medicare projects/programs
- Ability to work in office 2-3 days a week or as needed by client
- Associates Degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role Must be willing to travel up to 20%
