Position Title:Associate Project Manager – Network (P2)

Role
Position will support the Key Accounts Pre-Contract team on deployments, track information related to cycle time and process customer proposals. Verify all projects are completed according to the underlying customer contract and agreed upon timelines while complying with Crown Castle’s code of conduct, policies and procedures. Identify and lead mitigation of project risk while keeping key stakeholders informed. This role requires a clear and concise understanding of all project management principles: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer scope of work, goals, project timelines and expected run rates
- Attend internal deployment meetings as needed for pre contract opportunities.
- Ensure Crown Castle systems are maintained with accurate and reportable data.
- Report project status against commitments and keep national program team and stakeholders informed
- Track conflicts and drive issue resolution with all stakeholders
- Own proposal accountability across all individual and collection of assigned projects
- Escalate issues through internal lines of business and with customer management hierarchy
- Participate in internal deployment meetings as directed by lead Project Manager, and interact with carrier representative as needed
- Deal with design issues as they arise and see issues through to completion.
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant functions and parties as needed
Expectations
- Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, tower maintenance, and property management
- Knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
- Ability to read and understand blueprints along with and understanding of tower/roof top structural details
- Ability to direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
- Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues
- Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of construction services: telco, power, fiber, basic construction, vendor equipment requirements, towers, lines, and antennas
- Ability to communicate across multiple service groups to both internal and external customers
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- One (1) to three (3) or more years of project management experience

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
