Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Project Manager/Project Manager. This position can be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in:
- Melbourne, FL
- Saint Augustine, FL
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Palmdale, CA
- San DIego, CA
- South Bay, CA
The selected candidate will have the following duties:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Project Manager (A01)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Program Access
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Basic Qualifications for a Project Manager (A02)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Program Access
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Project Manager (A01) and a Project Manager (A02)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
- Has an active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret, SAP, Top Secret
Pay Range:
- Associate Project Management (A01): $48,700 - $89,400
- Project Management (A02): $59,000 - $108,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
