Baggage Handling Systems Project Manager

JSM & Associates, LLC ("JSM") is seeking a professional, skilled individual to fill the role of Baggage Handling Systems Project Manager.
Job Summary: The Baggage Handling Systems Project Manager will use expert judgment to ensure that all industry standards and customer needs are fulfilled, such as TSA requirements, airline operational expectations and recommended practices and resolutions.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating, implementing, or overseeing projects.
• Scheduling, monitor project deliverables, update relevant stakeholders, or team members on the project progress.
• Effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
• Safety and compliance training as required.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the BHS industry (design, coordination, and/or project management).
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Ability to manage and mentor a site management team as needed.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of TSA's Planning Guidelines and Design Standards (PGDS).

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, sit for long periods of time, bend, use hands to manipulate (type), talk and hear; walk and sit.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral visions, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional Requirements:
The employee must be able to successfully pass a drug screening, a drivers' license check and validation, a ten (10) year Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment as well as airport security badging.
Continued employment is subject to all the above requirements on an ongoing basis, failure of passing any of the above requirements may result in immediate termination.
