OVERVIEW
Join the BX Digital Experiences team with a mission to create and scale high impact Digital Experiences for our brands with advanced marketing technology tools and solutions. Be at the center of building and activating GMI’s MarTech platform to enable General Mills brands to connect with consumers and drive loyalty via relevant and personalized experiences.
As the MarTech Product Owner, you will develop, own and drive the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap across the portfolio of MarTech capabilities. This role is an integral part of the product team that develops and maintains the MarTech platform and solutions. You will take ownership of a wide variety of projects and capabilities using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, Salesforce Forms, A/B Testing, and email monitoring tools.
You will guide and inspire a cross-functional pod, blending the expertise of marketing, technology and agency resources to drive growth of the MarTech capabilities. You will work across a portfolio of General Mills brands including Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Que Rica Vida, and more, collaborating with stakeholders to evolve and strengthen capabilities and experiences supporting our owned media platforms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop a compelling product vision for MarTech solutions that is built on top of a deep, data- driven understanding of consumer and business needs.
  • Develop close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the product and its capabilities are aligned with business goals.
  • Solicit and integrate feedback from end users on product capabilities and deliverables to ensure capabilities and outputs are delivering intended value
  • Serves as the “voice of the product” and therefore is the liaison between business and the development teams; translating features into product requirements within the team’s backlog and managing, ranking and prioritizing the backlog so that it is reflective of stakeholder requirements and priorities and driving a steady cadence of improvements and new capabilities.
  • Develop annual and quarterly plans roadmap for MarTech platform.
  • Manage the execution of initiatives from solution through launch and ongoing enhancements.
  • Establish performance measures and monitor to ensure value is realized for use cases.
  • Drive MarTech strategy and recommendations to brands for expanding the use of existing and new capabilities translating brand strategies into MarTech technology solutions.
  • Write technical briefs and requirements for relevant product updates or enhancements.
  • Leverage agile experimentation to learn fast and roll out new capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching product solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Experience in writing business/functional requirements
  • Excellent communication and influence skills
  • Able to effectively navigate across the organization at all levels.
  • Demonstrated willingness and bias to break away from “business as usual,” working differently to deliver results.
  • Passion for & experience in one of the following areas: 1) email marketing; 2) Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Salesforce Marketing certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Agile marketing or development process with experience working in Agile/Product teams.
  • Able to effectively navigate across the organization at all levels.
  • Demonstrated willingness and bias to break away from “business as usual,” working differently to deliver results.
  • Passion for & experience in one of the following areas: 1) email marketing; 2) Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Salesforce Marketing certification
  • Experience conducting current state vs. future state mapping and developing plans for continuous enhancements.
