Job description

The Associate Manager, IDI (Intercultural Development Inventory) will provide overall direction and leadership on the IDI tool across the enterprise. This role will work hands on to drive transformational change, help to create and execute an agile Intercultural strategy that is able to adapt to the emerging needs and trends of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our Richfield, MN location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the enterprise account and lead our Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) global development initiatives.
  • Establish a feedback loop to regularly seek input from employees on intercultural challenges and opportunities, ensuring a continuous improvement approach.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on the evolving ID&E landscape that affect our people, business and community.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure programs to ensure accountability – possessing strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of global diversity issues and trends, educating the organization and adjusting strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of experience and expertise in HR, Talent Acquisition, and/or Diversity and Inclusion.
  • 1 or more years of IDI facilitation experience as a Qualified Administrator.
  • Subject matter expert and strong knowledge on relevant and industry-standard Diversity and Inclusion best practices, external trends, insights, content and culture
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of experience and expertise in HR, Talent Acquisition, and/or Diversity and Inclusion.
  • 2 or more years of experience implementing innovative diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs that result in tangible outcomes.
  • Experience with culture design and transformation, with a focus on change management experience, implementing enterprise-wide initiatives and programs
  • Proven ability to identify and manage project risks
