Quality Engineering Associate Manager(Accenture LLP; Minneapolis, MN): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Quality Engineering Associate Manager in Minneapolis, MN, and the job duties are as follows:
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
  • Understand and coordinate system dependencies for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications in production.
  • Design and coordinate roll back plan for every system roll outs to production.
  • Identify and assess complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors and create solutions for implementation by the team.
  • Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.
  • Drive resolution for customer reported issues and recommendation of permanent fixes through analysis of test scenarios derived from the source data/code.
  • Recommends and provides application information to other upstream and downstream systems that integrate with system framework/infrastructure.
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Perform Post-Production validation for enhancements from deployment to production;
  • Provide technical and functional resolutions on production issues;
  • Utilizing Retail Management System (RETEK), PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, or XMLs;
  • Utilizing Supply Chain applications and technologies including Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), Digital Shipper, Exacta Warehouse Control System, Red Prairie WMS, Reddwerks, or JDA Transportation Management System;
  • Driving key architectural and design decisions and suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues;
  • Working with offshore teams and managing deliveries in distributed environment; and
  • Perform production release planning and dependencies.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
