The opportunity
The Content Editorial Group at Harvard Business Publishing is looking for a full-time contract Associate Editor, Content Strategy to join our team.
If you're a word wizard with a passion for AI, this position is made for you. In this multifaceted role, you'll help our editorial and technology teams launch our new online learning destination for leaders. From helping shape a world-class chatbot experience to curating online content, you'll be at the center of the product development process.
In this role you'll collaborate with editorial and technology teams to ensure that our online content is informative, engaging, and true to our brand. You'll be happy in the position if you are excited to help managers be better leaders, you can nimbly jump from project to project, and you take pride in details others often overlook.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with editors to support all aspects of our learning destination, including drafting online copy and curating Harvard Business Review content (e.g., articles, videos, podcasts)
- Develop and refine chatbot prompts to generate accurate, engaging, and brand-aligned responses
- Analyze chatbot usage data to identify trends and recommend improvements to the chatbot's performance
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize the chatbot's functionality and natural language processing capabilities
- Identify gaps in the chatbot's knowledge base and work to fill them
- Curiosity and eagerness to stay up-to-date on AI and natural language processing (NLP) advancements
- Desire to stay up to date on AI research and trends.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of writing and editing experience
- Experience with AI technologies and natural language processing (NLP)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Curiosity and eagerness to stay up-to-date on AI and natural language processing (NLP) advancements
- Willingness to accept challenges and take initiative
