Job Description
The Associate Director of Education provides comprehensive supervision and support to our program staff, assisting them in developing professional skills and problem-solving guidance.
The Associate Director of Education maintains positive relationships with referring agencies, and collaborates and communicates with Administrators, Teachers, Adjunctive Therapists, Teacher’s Assistants, residential staff and external contacts to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Location:
- Niles, MO
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- 12 Month Employee
Education:
- Master’s degree in Special Education, administration, or other related field
Licensure/Certification:
- Teacher certification in Special Education
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
Experience:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years Special Education experience
- Knowledge of Special Education laws/regulations, local school district policies, physical/sexual abuse issues, crisis prevention/intervention and curriculum planning and implementation.
