Description:Reporting to the Director of Admission Information Systems, the Associate Director of Enrollment Dataand Reporting will work with the division of Student Enrollment, Engagement and Success to manage the data, processes and reports pertaining to the department of Undergraduate Admission.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Runs a daily schedule of processes to synchronize data across Hofstra systems using SQL Server, Oracle and Access databases.
- Assists with troubleshooting when failure occurs.
- Maintains and distributes existing Excel reports and creates new reports upon request.
- Analyzes, validates, and summarizes the undergraduate admission data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports.
- Loads vendor data to our Customer Management Relationship system.
- Monitors the consistency, quality and integrity of the data within our database systems.
- Participates in departmental and interdepartmental meetings, interacting with all levels of the Undergraduate Admission department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum five years relevant experience.
- Working experience with transactional databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize daily assignments while handling ad-hoc projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables and other Excel functions.
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
- Experience with Customer Management Relationship (CRM) software, including Slate and Tableau preferred.
- Knowledge of Student Information Systems, such as Ellucian Banner.
