The Director of Analytics in the Marketing and Enrollment space plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize marketing campaigns, and enhance enrollment processes. This position involves overseeing analytics initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing data-driven strategies to boost student enrollment and engagement.
This position is based out of the university’s home office in Albany NY with the option of considering remote candidates. Remote employees will have mandatory occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities. Remote employees are expected to be available during work hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Eastern time. The University will supply necessary equipment to perform the essential functions of this job (e.g., laptop docking station). Employees are responsible for having a workspace where they can participate in virtual meetings without multiple interruptions and noise.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and implement analytics strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Analyze enrollment data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaigns based on data insights.
- Lead the design and implementation of data visualization tools for reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment and marketing efforts.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve outcomes.
- Manage a team of analysts to support various analytics projects.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analytics processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics and Enrollment management.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- The ideal candidate for the Director of Analytics role should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, or enrollment management is required.
- Strongly preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field, experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and a proven track record of driving results through data-driven decision-making processes.
