Assistant Warehouse Lead

JOB REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL

The successful candidate must possess:

• Job requires multi-tasking, good organizational skills, and self motivation
• Applicants must work well within a crew context, taking on a leadership role
• Candidate may be required to work shifts, which will include weekends
• Applicants must have the capacity to effectively direct and delegate work, within a crew context
• Required to work overtime with little or no notice
• Able to lift 100 lbs
• Follow required Good Manufacturing Practices and good hygiene
• Maintain high ethical standards

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability / experience running all packaging lines.
• Ability to trouble shoot and maintain packaging lines
• Knowledge of all Warehouse and Packaging functions
• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of sugar truck loading, inspection and Inventory control and documentation
• Good customer service skills
• Accurate and timely record keeping and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
