This job listing is for a warehouse and office assistant.
Tasks are to include-
- Negotiate and secure best pricing available
- Timely and accurate orders, anticipating needs and taking into account lead time of materials
- Track delivery timeliness and accuracy.
- Communication with warehouse manager is crucial.
- assist warehouse manager in organizing all material purchased
- Let him know if materials need to be picked up
- Clearly label special order with part number and job name
- Track invoicing for correct pricing and accuracy of product received
- Keep track of price increases and notify management of findings
- Process defective merchandise on a minimum of every quarter.
- A minimum of once a week meetings with scheduler to determine material needs for the next 10 days
- A minimum of once a week meeting with management to determine new or special projects coming up in the next couple of months and possible special order materials
- Do a complete inventory at year end for management review
- Develop a plan to track new savings obtained.
- Answering phone calls
- Working close with owners of company
- Must know Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
