Assistant Property Manager

Rising property management firm is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Ossining NY, to assist management in maintaining all aspects of property operations in with a concentration on resident services.

As an Assistant Property Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Receivable including: rent collections and processing, management of delinquency and legal filings.
• Accounts Payable including, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and processing for payment.
• Present property clearly and enthusiastically on apartment tours.
• Communicate professionally with residents, prospective residents, internal Company team members, and vendors.
• Create resident communications such as notices, renewal letters, newsletter and flyers.
• Communicate regularly with the Property Manager and other team members regarding apartment status, traffic activities and suggestions for improved property performance.
• Accurately process new lease applications, generate leases for new residents and lease renewals for existing residents.
• Work with the maintenance team on daily service calls; scheduling and complete follow up to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure all apartment turnovers are completed according to company standard.
• Compliance with Affirmative Fair Housing regulations.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Property Management
• Professional References
• Self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in property management software, report writing, excel, and word
• Customer service skills and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
