Job Title: Assistant Property Manager
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay Range: $22-25/hr
CFS is partnering with a leading full-service property management company with properties across Michigan, and seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual for the position of Assistant Property Manager. This role involves providing support at their Jackson property. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in community outreach, leasing administration, and overall office management.
Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:
Leasing and Tenant Admin:
- Manage leasing and paperwork for 48 tax credit townhomes.
- Address property maintenance backlog.
Tenant Communication:
- Answer inquiries, conduct tours in person and via email.
- Present a positive experience during property tours.
Financial Management:
- Ensure timely rent and deposit receipts.
- Handle delinquency cases (minimal court appearances, primarily through Zoom).
Admin Tasks:
- Maintain accurate reports, collaborate with compliance manager.
Maintenance Oversight:
- Supervise maintenance team, ensure prompt task completion.
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Property management/leasing experience.
- Tax credit, Affordable Housing, LIHTC, or HUD experience.
- One Sight software proficiency.
Preferred:
- Open to candidates transitioning from leasing.
- Familiarity with court appearances related to delinquency cases.
