The Assistant Scheduler is responsible for assisting the Project Scheduler, Senior Project Scheduler or Lead Scheduler in the development, implementation and maintenance of the bid schedule(s) and project schedule(s). As an Assistant Scheduler, an entry level schedule department team member, your opportunity is to learn industry standards and Rosendin environment specific means and methods to scheduling. This is an office or site in-person opportunity. This is not a remote position.

• Support the Project, Senior or Lead Scheduler

• Can follow directions by site and corporate management

• Willing to learn construction means and methods for delivery of subcontractor scope of work

• Work in conjunction with Primary Scheduler to develop project specific work breakdown structures (WBS)

• Learn analytics in schedule review and assist with updates of schedule content such as:   Working with activities, relationships, constraints and project milestones

• Demonstrate ability to learn Microsoft Office and Project Management Software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

• The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position role within the business unit.

• Experience with Microsoft Office type applications

• Able to adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

• Amicable - friendly and professionally-minded

• This is an entry level position which requires a positive-minded, strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Minimum High School Diploma, College diploma a plus

• Construction industry experience is a plus

• Up to 10%

• General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

• Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

• Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
