Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Recording and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
- Finding ways to reduce the costs of equipment and supplies
- Creating estimates and change order requests
- Preparing schedules to let customers and employees know how long projects will take
- Visiting job sites and participating in meetings with our superintendent, estimator, and clients
- Outstanding people skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and adapt to unforeseen situations
- Understanding of math, and how to keep track of expenses and follow a budget
- Ability to understand and read blueprints and charts
- Good sense of direction and the ability to use maps or smartphone apps to find new job sites
- Extensive understanding of industry methods and materials
Experience with Plan Swift and Sage 100 is preferrable but not necessary as we are willing to train the right individual.
