***$3k signing bonus*** We are seeking a hard-working, responsible Project Administrator to assist Project Managersin the creation of project schedules, equipment delivery, startup/testing activities, and electrical subcontractor efforts. In addition, the Projects Administrator assists in the coordinating of onsite efforts including directing and organizing electrical subcontractor work, responding to field issues, and ensuring applicable codes and regulations are followed.

LOCATION: Spicewood, Texas

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required and three (3) or more years of full-time professional employment in related experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Knowledge of successful project administration, project management, business development, lead generation and successful sales practices and procedures. Ability to travel by both car and air for the company. Possess a valid and unencumbered driver’s license. Ability to pass a criminal background, Department of Motor Vehicles, and credit check.

General responsibilities:

  • Assists Project Manager in all administration functions and processes.
  • Facilitates development of project plans and manage them from inception to completion.
  • Monitors all moving parts of the project keeping them synchronized and moving forward.
  • Prepares, organizes, and distributes all necessary project materials.
  • Organizes and implements formulated policies and procedures.
  • Budget forecasts and assess possible project risks and setbacks.
  • Calculates project metrics including quality assurance, profits, and losses.
  • Communicates pertinent information between management and staff.
  • Strategically creates project plans, creating a timeline and setting benchmarks.
  • Advises staff on adherence to set budgets and project schedule.
  • Supervises and delegates tasks to project assistants and other trained staff.
  • Sets goals, provides motivation, and thoroughly supports project team members.
  • Collaborates on project presentations and attends project meetings.
  • Analyzes project data and produces progress reports.
  • Fosters positive and productive client relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

This is an exempt position with an expected work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The actual schedule of this position may vary based on the number of hours needed to meet the job responsibilities. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and weekends to meet the needs of the company.

Physical requirements:

Physical strength/endurance to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:

  • Physically able to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • While performing required job tasks, physically able to bend, crouch and reach continuously.
  • While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously.
  • Possesses dexterity abilities required to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.
  • Physically able to spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.
