Brief Summary:
Works in the MainStage Houston Office providing excellent customer service through the completion of MainStage submittals and assisting Project Managers in varying tasks. The candidate will be required to review project drawings, vendor, and manufacturer brochures, generating project submittals, and bid documents. This candidate will also be responsible for procuring materials to include creating and submitting purchase orders, sales orders, and other system paperwork to on projects.
Duties:
Create and distribute Introduction letters to customers to retrieve contact information and construction documents.
Create Hold for Release Purchase Orders
Review electronic specifications and plans to prepare bills of materials for projects.
Maintain Bill of Materials with up-to-date information and tracking
Review quotation spreadsheets of the prepared Bills of Materials
Create lighting plots for submittals and cable takeoffs.
Combine project documents to create complete sets of submittals and closeout documents for review.
Inventory Ordering for local warehouse
Distribute and track color selection letters and booklets.
Complete and confirm project returns.
Generate Requests for Information and Change Order Requests and provide status updates.
Create and distribute various project reports.
Save all project documents on server.
Track Union Hand Time Sheets
Work with Projects Team to develop and distribute Site Safety Plans as needed.
Interface with project management to coordinate outside labor and rental equipment.
Effectively communicate material changes/needs with vendors
Provide feedback of MainStage drawings and update internal documents to include changes.
Other duties as required.
Skills Required:

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications, Bluebeam Revu, and Dropbox.
Strong ability to work with or without supervision and make sound decisions based on guidelines established by management.
Ability to adapt in an environment where change is constant.
High degree of professionalism when dealing with contractors, subcontractors, and co-workers
Ability to effectively communicate with other MTS employees.
Basic Math skills
Knowledge of theatrical equipment, practices, and procedures are desired.
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
