Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Logistics Assistant Manager to join our team at DL Lee & Son’s. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products, and help support the management of our overall logistics process. This position will also assist with the management of finished goods warehouse. Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Optimization:

• Assist in the support to develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain.
• Collaborate with our Fleet drivers, suppliers, distributors, and transportation partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• 2. Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.

3. Transportation Coordination:

• Coordinate the transportation of goods, including scheduling and routing shipments to optimize delivery routes.
• Assist in the support to negotiate of contracts and agreements with carriers and logistics service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation.

• Performance Analysis:

• Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Generate regular reports on logistics performance and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Logistics Manager in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with using computers.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,497.43 - $43,953.89 per year
