Haslett Child Development Center is a team-oriented environment with a long-standing history in the Haslett community. We are accepting applications for full-time assistant teachers, with shift from Monday through Friday. We are looking for an assistant teacher in all of our classrooms from birth through preschool. We are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to encourage maximum growth and scaffold learning for children in all domains of development. Flexible schedules are available. The starting rate is $13.50 per hour without prior childcare center experience. Pay is based on years of experience and child development college coursework.

Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a childcare center is preferred
- Background checks are required
- Successful passing of a TB Test
- Pediatric and Adult First Aid and CPR certification is required. If you do not have it, then the center will pay for the certification
Job requirements include:
- Assisting lead teacher in daily classroom activities using HighScope Curriculum
- Observing and assessing children's skills, interests and needs to facilitate growth using COR Advantage
- Maintaining a nurturing environment for children to develop their interests, skills, and express themselves
- Establishing positive relationships with children's families
- Participating in staff meetings, center activities, & staff development

- 7 am to 3 pm
