Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant Room Teachers and Assistants to join our team. As a Infant Room Teacher or Assistant Caregiver you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young infants can learn and grow at their age/stage. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning while helping to reach milestones for all Infants and Toddlers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote educational development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and explore
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence in young learners
- Promote social skills through group activities and play
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan special events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- First aid certification is preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities is a plus
