Assistant Controller

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel; A/R, A/P, Payroll
• Balance Sheet Monthly Reconciliations
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Review of Income and Expense (Income Statement Analysis
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Payroll Taxes and Quarterly Reporting
• Reconcile Daily Deposits for multiple Bank Accounts
• Special Analysis and Reports as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields (5+ years)
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance
• High level of proficiency in accounting, corporate finance concepts, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling
• Excellent data analysis skills as well as possessing a business-oriented mindset
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and data analysis
